GAIL B. CLEMENT

Gail B. Clement, 74, of Morgan City, Louisiana, passed away on May 12, 2015, at 5:02a.m. due to complications associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church located in Morgan City, at 415 Union St. The visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on May 20 and conclude with a celebration of life Mass at 6 p.m.
Gail was born in Morgan City. She graduated from Morgan City High School in 1958 and soon after married her high school sweetheart, Kenward “Bob” Clement in August 1959. They were married for a joyful and loving 55 years.
Gail lived her life fully, always had a smile, and had the ability to light up any room she entered. She never met a stranger. Much of her time was spent caring for others and raising her family. She was an active member of the Morgan City Chapter of AARP.
Gail is survived by her husband, Bob, daughter Lisa Clement-Foley; son Chad A Clement; son-in-law Keith A. Foley; daughter-in-law Lisa H. Clement; grandchildren Ashley Clement, Jonathan Clement and Kelly Clement; half sisters Dianne Broussard, Judy Battaglio and Kay Carter, and many family and friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her mother, Enola G. Breaux, and her father, Russell A. Breaux.

The family of Gail wishes to thank the Fidelis group home and all of the staff there, who not only cared for her daily needs, but also met the need to be loved and respected. We would also like to thank the staff at St. Tammany Parish Hospice, who helped with her care and provided comfort during her last week with us.
