Gayneaux Paul Trahan Jr., 52, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Lafayette General Hospital. Paul, as he was known by most, was a native and lifelong resident of Franklin who loved music and playing his guitar. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, January 4, 2016, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., and again Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of dismissal at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery.
Paul is survived by his four daughters, Daisha Lange, Delilah Daigle, Maizy Trahan and Mersady Hill; three grandchildren, Luke and Lyzah Lange and Aeris Daigle; his mother, Ann Elizabeth Swallow; as well as three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Gayneaux Paul Trahan Sr.
