GLORIA ANN BARRAS LANDRY

Gloria Ann Barras Landry, 72, a resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at Patterson Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.
Gloria was born March 28, 1944, in Morgan City, the daughter of Edwin and Mabel Ohmer Barras.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Donald J. Landry of Bayou Vista; four children, Stephen Landry and wife Deborah of The Woodlands, Texas, Don Landry of Bayou Vista, Sharon Legendre and husband Paul of Calumet, and Karen Sehon of Bayou Vista; eight grandchildren, Ryan Legendre and wife Miranda, Brett Legendre, Michaela Legendre, Heather Sehon, Robert Sehon, Hailey Sehon, Austin Landry and Rebecca Landry; and two great-grandchildren, Kate Legendre and Ella Legendre.
Gloria is also survived by four sisters, Shirley McCann, Judy LaJaunie and husband Phillip, Joy Gaudet and husband Gilday, and Toni Guillory and husband Glenn; and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Landry and wife Mary Lou, and Daryll Landry.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mabel Ohmer Barras; one son-in-law, Craig Sehon; one sister, Delores Cortez; one infant sister; one brother-in-law, Warren McCann; one sister-in-law, Ramona Landry; and mother- and father-in-law, Horace and Vivian Landry.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Landry, Don Landry, Austin Landry, Robert Sehon, Ryan Legendre and Brett Legendre.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick with Monsignor J. Douglas Courville celebrating Mass. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being prayed at 5 p.m. The visitation will resume Monday morning at St. Stephen Church from 9 a.m. until Mass time. A private family interment will take place at a later date in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
