GLORIA JEAN LOFTON

Gloria Jean Lofton, 75, a native and resident of Franklin, died Monday, October 6, 2014, at 11:12 a.m., at Franklin Health Care Center.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13 at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Charenton. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery in Charenton.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memories two sons, David Lofton of Marksville and Michael Lofton of Franklin; one daughter, Erica Lofton of Bronx, NY; five brothers, James Fontenot, David Grimm, Thomas Fontenot, Clarence Grimm and Jerry Fontenot, all of Franklin, and Claude Grimm of Houston, TX; three sisters, Ethel and Cindy Tardy, both of Franklin, and Debra Fontenot of Jeanerette; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Lofton was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two daughters, four brothers and three sisters.
