GRANT S. BRIZZARD

August 5, 1946-October 21, 2016
Grant S. Brizzard, 70, a native of Berwick and longtime resident of the Denham Springs area, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016.
Grant was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie May and husband Steven; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Spencer Brizzard; three sisters, Myrna Rosson, Jennifer Percle and Catherine East; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney J. Brizzard Jr. and Bertha Coleman Brizzard; his son, Grant S. Brizzard Jr.; four brothers, Walter, Todd, Sidney III and Barry; and three nephews, Walter Brizzard Jr., Colby Rosson and Ronald East Jr.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.
