GREGORY PAUL BUTLER

Gregory Paul Butler, 51, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Patterson, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 4:35 a.m., at the Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, LA.
Visitation will be observed from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., Saturday August 8, at the Railroad Avenue Church of Christ in Morgan City, with Stanley Rankins officiating the services. Entombment will follow funeral services in the Mausoleum Section of the Ibert’s Memorial Park in Patterson.
Gregory was employed as a Culinary Chef at Morgan’s Restaurant in Morgan City.
Those left to cherish wonderful memories of Gregory are his loving wife, Ara Marie Butler of Patterson; Gregory’s parents, Joseph Sr. and Mary Butler of Patterson; four children, Gregory Paul Granger of Lafayette, Jabari Wade Granger, Onika Richardson and Eric King, all of New Iberia; three grandchildren, whom he was very proud of; three brothers, Neal Butler, David Butler and Joseph Butler Jr., all of Patterson; one sister, Berthena Butler-King of Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by one niece and his mother-in-law and his father-in-law.
