Irmanease “Ms. Irma” Williams

Irmanease “Ms. Irma” Williams, 62, a native of White Castle and resident of Amelia, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, in Amelia.
She was an employee for Community Action Agency for 28 years, worked at Baby Bear Head Start in Morgan City, Goldilocks Head Start in Siracusa, Winnie The Pooh Head Start in Amelia and was a worker at Amelia Recreation Center for 24 years.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Bethel AME Church, 956 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Clark of Amelia; three sons, Levy Williams III, Edward Williams and John Williams, all of Amelia; a sister, Mary G. Holly of Amelia; three brothers, Jerry Gaskins and Perry Gaskins, both of Amelia, and David Gaskins of Morgan City; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a sister.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of arrangements.
