IVYMAE LaCOSTE HEBERT

July 26, 1941 - July 15, 2015
Ivymae Marie LaCoste Hebert, a native of Belle River and life-long resident of Stephensville, gained her angel wings and has gone to meet the love of her life, her eyes, who guided her through the years due to vision impairment on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the age of 73.
Ivymae was the definition of a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she gave all she had to any and all. She enjoyed her camp in Persimmons Pass with many friends and family where the good times seemed to last forever and the food went even further.
Ivymae leaves behind her daughter and caregiver, Claudette Hebert Vidos and husband, Johnny Ray; granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Vidos Blanchard and husband, Jason; a son whom she loved as her own, Johnny Hymel and wife, Melinda; her four sisters, Angeline LaCoste Blanchard, Edna LaCoste Giroir and husband, Herbert, Elsie LaCoste Martin and husband, Carol, and Margaret LaCoste Mayon; brother-in-law, Horace Hebert and wife, Delores; and many nephews, nieces and a countless number of special friends.
Ivymae was preceded in death by her husband, Lynwood Adam Hebert, whom she loved with all she had and now will be joined in Heaven for eternity; her parents, Wilbert LaCoste and Nellie Gautreaux LaCoste; mother- and father-in-law, Albert and Azelie Mason Hebert; brothers, Nolan LaCoste and Autrey LaCoste; brothers-in-law, Willie Blanchard, Ricky Mayon and Eugene Hebert; and a nephew, Wilbert Lovell.
Visitation will be today, Thursday, July 16, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continues Friday, July 17, 2015, from 8 a.m. until the services at 11 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral home. Ivymae will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Heart of Hospice for the compassion and care given to Mrs. Ivymae during her final days.
