JANE DENTON LaBONNE

Jane Denton LaBonne, a native of Calhoun County, Mississippi, and a longtime resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at Morgan City Health Care Center. She was the owner of “Inez’s Beauty Shop” for over 40 years.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Mary B. Wilson of Morgan City; and two grandsons, Harrel L. “Butch” Wilson Jr. of Metairie and Stephen H. Wilson and his wife, Vanessa, of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Denton of Destrehan; three nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hammond and Marie Burns Denton; two brothers, Ellis Denton and Josh Denton; and one niece.
A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Francis Metz III and her caregivers at MCHCC and Notre Dame Hospice.
As Jane requested cremation upon her passing, there will be no services.
