Jerry Charles Sr., 72, a resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Visitation was Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m. Burial was in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry Charles Jr. and Theiring Charles, both of Morgan City, Paul Charles of Verdunville, and Glen Jones of Patterson; three sisters, Margaret Gibson of Morgan City, Idell Oprien of Houma, and Delores Henderson of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Jeanerette-Houma is in charge of arrangements.
