JESSIE MANUEL

Lafayette — Graveside services for Jessie Ray Manuel, 87, will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Broussard, Louisiana.
Jessie was a native and resident of Morgan City. He was a retired truck driver with over 40 years’ experience and an attendant at Rouses Supermarket in Morgan City.
He is survived by his children, Connie M. McAuliffe and her husband, E. Jeffrey, of Metairie, and Randy Paul Manuel Sr. and his wife, Joyce, of Morgan City; daughter-in-law, Jaye Lynn of Morgan City; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Johnson Manuel; son, Jessie Dean Manuel; and parents, Duplex Manuel and Neah Soileau Manuel.
