John Alfred Brown

John Alfred Brown, 71, a native of Franklin and resident of Baldwin, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Brown of Baldwin; a son, Reginald Brown of Charenton; a daughter, Rachel Brown of Scott; three brothers, James Carlton Brown and Berlon Leonard Brown, both of Baldwin, and Paul Stafford Brown Jr. of Jeanerette; a sister, Rose Marie Brown LaSalle of Patterson; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents.
