JOHN CRAIG “SKIP” MCGRAW

Funeral services for John Craig “Skip” McGraw, 70, of West Monroe, will be held in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. at 2 p.m. on Friday February 24, 2017. Rev. Jon Tellifero of First United Methodist Church West Monroe will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday February 23, 2017.
John was born in Franklin, La. to Horace and Ruth McGraw on February 6, 1947 and passed away on February 21, 2017. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from the University of Southwestern Louisiana. John married Margret Richmond on June 22, 1979, he was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. John was a member of the Masonic Order and was a Master Gardener. John is preceded in death by his parents and also a daughter, Carla Ruth McGraw.
Survived by his wife, Margaret McGraw; son, Steven McGraw and his daughters, Andrea Sonnier and husband Raymond, Dina Saxon and husband Brian and Lynn Binkley; brother Michael McGraw; he has 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Andy Binkley, Daniel Binkley, Eric Saxon, Clayton Saxon, Samuel Sanders and Maurice Sanders.
