Funeral services will be held at a later date for John Donald Adams, a native of New Orleans, former resident of California and Franklin, and a resident of Broussard for the past 13 years, who passed away at the age of 84 on Monday, November 30, 2015, at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Peggy Comeaux Adams; six children, Donna Gordon, Susan Adams, James Adams, Rebecca Adams, Jennifer Wright and John Adams Jr.; 11 grandchildren, Shelley, Melissa, Jessica, Craig, Erin, Elizabeth, Kyle, Chris, Casey, Cassidy and Matthew; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Derrick; and one brother, Gary Adams Sr. and his wife, Barbara.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Adams Sr. and Elisca Dardenne Adams; and two brothers, Raymond Adams and Nathan Adams Jr.
