Memorial services for Mrs. JoLynn Parker-Guillory, 59 of Carthage, Texas were held at 4p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 at Galloway United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Floyd officiating.
Visitation with the family was Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 from 6–8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Guillory passed away Dec. 4, 2016 in Carthage.
Mrs. JoLynn Parker-Guillory was born Dec. 11, 1956 in Carthage, Texas to Jo Bailey and Peggy Lynn Davis Parker. She attended Franklin High School graduating with the class of 1976, then furthered her education at LSU and graduated from Young Memorial Nursing School. Mrs. Guillory married Gustar Joseph Guillory and celebrated almost 38 years together.
She worked for the Franklin Police Department as their jail nurse and spent many years as a geriatric nurse. She served as a volunteer with the Franklin Fire Department, enjoyed reading and embroidering, but mostly she loved to spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Guillory is survived by her husband Gus Guillory of Reeves Community; children, Iesha Boudreaux and husband Jason of Franklin, La., Joseph Guillory of Reeves Community, Aaron Clements and husband Toby of Franklin, La. and Hailey Faucheaux and husband Curt of Thibodaux, La.; brother, William Parker and wife Lisa of Carthage; grandchildren, Alexia, Adam, Jade, Jarom, Jene and Juliet, numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
