Joseph ‘Joe Turkey’ Green

Joseph “Joe Turkey” Green, 65, a native of Franklin and a resident of Patterson, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Patterson Healthcare in Patterson.
Visitation will be Saturday at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Shield Cemetery in Patterson. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick Jones.
Green was a veteran of the United States Army. The East St. Mary Funeral Squad will perform at graveside.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamara Green Williams Sr. of San Leandro, Ga.; three brothers, Albert Green Jr. of Antelope, Calif., Robert Green of Franklin, and David Green of Hayward, Calif.; two sisters, Doretha Green of Hayward, Calif., and Leether Polar of Seagoville, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
