JOYCE THERESA ROCK GROW WHEELER

April 3, 1930 - August 3, 2015
Joyce Theresa Rock Grow Wheeler, 85, a resident of Stephensville, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Terrebonne General Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was born on April 3, 1930, in Morgan City, the daughter of Jasper and Eva Solar Rock.
Joyce loved her family and loved when they all got together, as it was an opportunity for her to cook for all of them, which is something she loved to do.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Jack Wheeler of California; three sons, Edgar J. Grow III of Breaux Bridge, Jimmy J. Grow of Morgan City and Eugene J. Grow of Ricohoc; three daughters, Tana A. Tarver of New Iberia, Patty A. Rohman of Pierre Part and Tammy M. Grow of Stephensville; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Gerald Rock, Lynn Rock, Herman Rock and Danny Wade.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Edgar J. Grow Jr.; and two sons, Kenneth P. Grow and Edward J. Grow.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at Twin City Funeral Home with the funeral service being held at 8 p.m. Joyce will be laid to rest in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
