KAHNIE MARIE MOTES

Kahnie Marie Motes, 60, a native of Franklin and resident of Gonzales, died November 6, 2013, at 7:15 a.m., at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Motes; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Bobby Edmonds; grandchildren, Evan Gage, McKinzie Linden, and Drake Edmonds; mother, Velma, Velma Belanger; brothers and sisters, Herman Jr., Sheila, Billy, Kathy and Joanelle.
Mrs. Motes was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cyrus and Emily Rogers; her father, Herman Waltman Sr.; her son, Glenn Ray Perkins; and grandson John Ray Perkins.
