KEVIN BRIAN FAVORS

Kevin Brian Favors, 47, a resident of Houston, Texas and native of Patterson, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Bay Town, Texas following a short illness.
He is survived by his wife, Lesa Stone Favors of Houston; mother, Joyce (Lucius) Griffin of Patterson; two sons, Isaiah Tyree Brown of Houston and Kevin Griffin of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Sydni Brown of Houston; three brothers, Willie Francois of Patterson, Louis Favors and Lawrence Favors, both of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Tammy Washington of Moss Point, Mississippi and Faith Simmon of San Marcus, Texas.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. Patrick Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in the Shields Cemetery in Patterson.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
