LAWRENCE JONES

Lawrence Jones, 68, a native of Ashton and resident of Jeanerette, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Baldwin, the Rev. Robert Purvey officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Family Cemetery in Four Cor-ners.
He is survived by a son, Zachariah Polidore of Jeanerette; a brother, Marcus Jones Jr. of Morgan City; a sister, Ommil Holmes of Beaumont, Texas; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
