LCPL MARQUES KYLE BOGAN

A Home Going Celebration will be held for LCPL Marques Kyle Bogan, 21, at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, New Iberia, with Pastor Ed Downs officiating.
Entombment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum, in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at the church until time of services.
A resident of New Iberia, he passed Saturday, August 2, 2014.
He was a member of First Baptist Church. A 2010 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, he then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. Lastly, he was employed at Super I Foods in New Iberia.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Marty Anthony Bogan of Baldwin and Claudia Yvette Provost-Maxey (Jonathan) of New Iberia; one sister, Maiya Ka’Trell Bogan of New Iberia; one step brother, Charles Maxey of Connecticut; one niece, Aubrey Bogan of New Iberia; maternal grandparents, Edward and Orelia Provost of Baldwin; paternal grandparents, Mark Bogan of Verdunville, and Audrey Bogan of Baldwin; paternal great grandfather, Frank Lagerman of Baldwin; godparents, Vanessa Johnson of Baldwin and Eric Provost of Killeen, Texas; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Amelia Lagerman and maternal great grandparents, Adam Sr. and Emma Dell Johnson and maternal great-grandparents, Margie Cooks and Monroe Provost; and paternal great-great-grandparents, Gladys and Theodore Bogan.
Active pallbearers will be the United States Marine Corp.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the immediate family
