Leroy “Boo” Lewis Jr.

Leroy “Boo” Lewis Jr., 71, a native of Morgan City and resident of Franklin, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at his residence.
Leroy was a veteran of the United States Army.
Visitation will be Monday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Morgan City, from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Cummings-Lewis of Franklin; a daughter, Monie Oliver of Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Marvin “Joe” (Carol) Lewis of Patterson; sisters, Barbara Gayle Lewis, Greta Lewis and Gaydell Nixon, all of Morgan City, and Lorraine Lewis Carter of Dallas; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by his parents.
