LEWIS GERALD GATLIN

December 3, 1936 - December 15, 2016
Lewis Gerald Gatlin, a native of Summit, Mississippi and resident of Berwick for the past eight years, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at the age of 80. Gerald was a past resident of Slidell, Louisiana, where he lived for many years. There he owned the Royal Golf Club and was a lifetime member of the Professional Golfers Association. Gerald will be remembered for kindness and generosity to others.
Gerald leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Patricia “Pat” Gatlin; two daughters, Heather Litton and her husband, Jeremy, and Stephanie Lind and her husband, Erik; two grandchildren, Emma Lind and Jackman Lind; and one sister, Rose Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Inita Gatlin.
The family requests that visitation be observed Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home of Morgan City with memorial services for Gerald at 11 a.m. Dismissal will follow the completion of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gerald’s name to a charity of your choice.
