Lillie Mae “Mother” Parker

Lillie Mae “Mother” Parker, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014.
Visitation will be at Jones Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday and again Saturday at New Rising Sun Baptist Church, 230 St. Charles St., Houma, from 9 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Blue Lily Cemetery, Johnson Ridge.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Parker Jr. and Ronald Parker Sr., both of Houma; seven daughters, Elaine Parker and Patricia P. LaGarde, both of Bayou Vista, Marilyn Robinson, Barbara Parker, Margaret Young, Sandra Henderson, and JoAnne Harris, all of Houma; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, grandparents, one brother, five sisters, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City, Franklin, Jeanerette, Houma is in charge of arrangements.
