LOUIS ‘TURKEY RED’ NERVE

Louis “Turkey Red” Nerve, 62, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Centerville, died Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:43 a.m., at his residence.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday, December 19, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 1 p.m... Burial will follow services in the Nazarene Cemetery in Verdunville.
Louis leaves to cherish his wonderful memories to his sisters, Elsie Lightfoot and Lori Nerve, both of Franklin, Mary Ann Kemp Beverly of Verdunville, Mrs. Edward (Judy) Delaune of Morgan City, Mrs. Darren (Carol Ann) Lewis of Centerville and Mattie Nerve of Patterson; six brothers, Charlie Nerve Sr. of St. Martinville, Polite Nerve of Jeanerette, Henry Lee Nerve and Harry Lee Nerve, both of Franklin, Paul Nerve of Verdunville, and David Nerve of Patterson; as well as a host of other in-laws, relatives and friends.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, two aunts, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, three uncles, and two nieces.
