LOUVINIA RUDOLPH JENKINS

Mrs. Louvinia Rudoloph Jenkins, 73, a resident of Baldwin and native of Franklin, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, at 8 a.m., at Franklin Foundation Hospital following a short illness.
She is survived by her mother, Viola Morris Rudolph of Baldwin; six sons, William Jenkins Jr. and wife, Audry, of Jennings; Joseph Jenkins and wife, Shown; Paul Jenkins, Raymond Jenkins and wife, Loretta, of Baldwin; Lionel Jenkins of Franklin; and Brian Jenkins and wife, Ylonda, of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Debra Charatain and husband, Clarence, of Baldwin; and Esterrine Moore of Jeanerette; four brothers, Elbert Rudolph and wife, Glenda, of Rochester, New York; Giles Rudolph, Jacob Rudolph and Randy Rudolph, all of Baldwin; six sisters, Meceeda Watson and husbnd, Ivory, Burndina Colar and husband, Mannie, and Betty Joe Leonard and husband, Kern, of Baldwin; Elise Mae Jones and husband, Barry, of Franklin; Sarah Alex and husband, Samuel, of Longview, Texas; and Hattie Mae Richard of Abbeville; 60 grandchildren; and 45 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her father, two sons, one daughter, three sisters, two brothers and three great grandchildren.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery in Baldwin.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
