LUCIUS CALVIN JR.

Mr. Lucius Calvin Jr., 46, a resident and native of Patterson, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at 1:51 p.m., at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. Luke Baptist Church, 1709 Harry St. in Patterson.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. Keith Verrette officiating. Interment will follow in the Home Industrial Cemetery in Patterson.
He is survived by his mother, Emma L. Stackhouse Calvin of Patterson; one son, Jai’Lucin Calvin of Thibodaux; three daughters, Paisjah Calvin of Morgan City, An’Jaleyn Haynes of Thibodaux and Lordon Calvin of Patterson; one brother, David Calvin of Opelousas; and three sisters, Lisa Calvin of Patterson, Jerilyn Calvin of Houston, TX and Marie Calvin of Opelousas.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
