MARTIN WILLIAM QUAIN

Martin William Quain, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at the age of 60.
Martin was known for his generous and loving nature as well as being a true Saints and LSU fan. He admired the American Bald Eagle and enjoyed watching old western movies because he was a cowboy at heart. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity and was an Eagle Scout. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Martin leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Florina Bergeron and her husband, John, of Morgan City; their daughter, Rochelle Bergeron; his brother, Clayton Quain of Texas and his children; his brother-in-law, Uman “Jay” Leonard; his niece, Jeanice St. Germaine and her husband, Glenn, of Houma; their children, Marcie (his godchild) and Matt; as well as numerous other nieces; his nephew, Robert Quain and his wife, Lisa, of Morgan City; their children; his godchildren, Dan Marino and Violet Quain; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and his good buddies, Joe Marino, D.J. and Kenny Duval, John Taylor, Daryl and Dale LeBlanc, and The Crappell Brothers.
He joined in heaven, his father, C.L. “Pete” Quain; his mother, Verna Dupre Quain; a brother, Robert H. Quain; a sister, Betty Quain Leonard; and two nieces and one nephew.
The family requests that a time of visitation be observed Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, from 9 a.m. until time of services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Martin on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with dismissal following at the end of services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to TARC of Houma.
