Mary Alice Triggs

Mary Alice Triggs, 78, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Survivors include a son, Norris M. Triggs Jr., of Morgan City; two daughters, Dorothy T. Stewart, of Patterson, and Tyeka D. Webb of Houston; four brothers, Leroy Trimm Sr., Oliver Trimm Jr., Edward Trimm Sr., and Nathaniel Clark, all of Morgan City; and four sisters, the Rev. Viola Trim, Betty N. Banks and Judy Trim, all of Morgan City, and Luticia Ruffin, of Lake Charles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her grandparents, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held Tuesday at New Mt. Ester Baptist Church of Morgan City from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial rites will be read at the church Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Elder Charles Datis Sr. officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Morgan City.
Otis Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
