MARY ANN THOMAS

Miss Mary Ann Thomas, 85, a resident of Berwick and native of Galveston, TX died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at 5:10 p.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Dec. 27, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. John Baptist Church, 500 Utha St., in Berwick.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church, with the Rev. Louis Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery in Berwick.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Fannie Lee Granger of Houston, TX; and devoted caregivers, John (Jack) and Peggy Granger of Berwick.
Miss Thomas was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nellie Ray Merritt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
