Mary Ann Thomas

Mary Ann Thomas, 85, a native of Galveston, Texas, and resident of Berwick, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church in Berwick, with services beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Tabernacle Cemetery in Berwick.
She is survived by one sister, Fannie Lee Granger, of Houston; and devoted caregivers, John “Jack” and Peggy Granger, of Berwick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Thomas and Mary L. Henderson; and one sister, Nellie Ray Merritt.
Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of arrangements.
