MARY LOUISE EDWARDS

Mrs. Mary Louise Edwards, 88, a resident of New Orleans and native of Franklin, died Monday, June 22, 2015, at 7:05 p.m., at her residence following a short illness.
Visitations will be Tuesday, June 30, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Greater Carver Baptist Church, 3343 Metropolitan St. in New Orleans.
Burial rites will be held Tuesday, at that church, with Elder Betsy Vaughan. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in New Orleans.
Survivors include five sons, Leonard (Trianace) Edwards Sr., Benjamin (Linda) Edwards Sr., Bruce (Loria) Edwards Sr., Nathaniel (Pamela) Edwards and Wesley Edwards, all of New Orleans; five daughters, Linda Banks of New Orleans, Lillie Wilson of Houston, TX, Lois (Dennis) Foster of College Park, GA, Beneva (Ogista) Nile of Atlanta, GA and Lisa (Tyrine) Williamson of Ft. Bragg, NC; one sister, Annie Bolden of Franklin; 24 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
