Maybell ‘May’ Griffin

Maybell “May” Griffin, 68, a native of Pineville, Miss., and a resident of Bayou Vista, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014.
She worked at the Anchor and Shooters lounges for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Teague of Bayou Vista; son, Tony Teague, of San Antonio; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;. two sisters Penny McNeil and Ora Raines; and four brothers, Tommy, Jeff, Jackie and Tony.
She was preceded in death by a husband, three children, her parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be observed from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7. Visitation will continue at noon Saturday with services.
