MAYCI MARIE BREAUX

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mayci Marie Breaux were held during an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial on Monday, July 27, 2015, at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin. Burial followed in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit was the Celebrant for the Mass and conducted the services.
A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with the Cursillo Rosary being prayed at 6 p.m., led by the Franklin Men’s Ultreya Group.
Visiting hours resumed at Ibert’s at 8 a.m. and continued until time of dismissal at 10:30 a.m.
Mayci was a loving, kind, beautiful, and vibrant young lady, who had a wonderful personality and a smile that would light up even the darkest of rooms. She was a 2012 graduate of Hanson Memorial High School and was currently attending LSUE where she was studying to be an ultrasound and radiology technician. One of her many loves in life was dancing, which she started at a very young age, but her true passion in life was being surrounded by her family. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Mayci is survived by her parents, Kevin Breaux and Dondie LeBlanc Breaux; her brother, Dustin Breaux and his wife, Daina; her sister, Ali Breaux; maternal grandparents, Preston and Barbara Hebert LeBlanc; paternal grandmother, Gail Landen Breaux; paternal grandfather, Herbert Breaux; her nieces and nephew, Emma Bonin, Demi Breaux (her godchild), Micah Breaux, and Mia Breaux (soon to be born); her godchild, Marina Bagala; her aunts and uncles, Tracie B. Dupuy and her husband, Larry; Lynette B. Bagala and her husband, Shane; Stephen Breaux, Blair LeBlanc and his wife, Monica; Cindy L. Mire and her husband, David; Melanie L. Durocher and her husband, Mark “Toedoe”; Carrie L. Barrilleaux and her husband, Chris; Lana L. Sanchez and her husband, John; and Lance LeBlanc and his wife, Jill. She is also survived by the love of her life, Matthew Rodriguez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, Bennett and Odette Hebert, and Wilton and Marie LeBlanc; her paternal great grandparents, Carl “CJ” and Evelyn Landen, and Rivers and Marie Breaux; and a cousin, Heather Moore Blanchard.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin Breaux, Rivers Bagala, Stephen Breaux, Blair LeBlanc, Lance LeBlanc and Derrick Faucheux. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Robison, Larry Dupuy, Shane Bagala, Chris Barrilleaux and John Sanchez.
