Mayola Ann Daigle

Mayola Ann Daigle, 68, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Mayola is survived by her husband of 49 years, Alfred Daigle Sr., of Patterson; one daughter, Stephanie Daigle and her fiancé, Todd Mercer, of Patterson; two sons, Alfred Daigle Jr., of Patterson, and Aubrey Daigle and wife, Vera, of Kinder; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Sterling Fryou, Sherfey Fryou, Curtis Fryou, Cleveland Fryou and Roy Fryou; and three sisters, Judy LaCoste, Joanne Alfa and Dale Uzzo.
Mayola was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha Wiggins Fryou; one daughter, Pamela Daigle; three sons, Roger, Tracy and Troy Daigle; her father- and mother-in-law, Alfred M. and Nelda Daigle.
Visitation will take place today, Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, beginning at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will start at 11 a.m. and Mayola will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the Mass.
