Mozella Triggs, 74, a native of Katy, La. and a resident of Patterson, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, La., at 4:08 a.m.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 12, at the Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson, La., from 9 a.m. until funeral services beginning at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Shield Cemetery of Patterson, with Pastor Patrick Jones Sr. officiating.
Mozella leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Mrs. Ethen (Elnora) Willis of Patterson; three step-daughters, Brenda Robertson and Ella Bennett, both of Patterson, and Edna Jones of Siracusa, La; one brother, Wardell Reed of Crowley; four sisters, Buelah Christman of Crowley; Mercedell Williams and Mrs. George (Doris) Favors Sr., both of Patterson, and Myrtle Jackson of Sorrell; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four godchildren; a host of relatives and friends; and her beloved niece and caregiver.
Mrs. Triggs was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, a sister, stepmother, two stepsisters, a stepbrother, a stepson and a goddaughter.
