MR. CHRIS FOSTER

Mr. Chris Foster, 47, a resident and native of Franklin, died Friday, March 7, 2014, at 7:40 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales following a short illness.
He is survived by one son, Quinton Young of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Quaneshia Pollard of Patterson and Naquita Young of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Raymond (Willie Mae) Elmore of Port Arthur, Texas, Larry (Antonia) Elmore and Charles (Lula) Elmore, both of Houston, Texas; seven sisters, Diane (Terry) Parker, Joyce Elmore and Carol (Paul) Simon, all of Houston, Gail (Walter) Stansbury Jr. of Verdunville, Edna Foster of Arlington, Texas, Amanda Williams of Carencro and Myra Gilbeau of Mobile, Alabama; and one grandchild.
Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Otis Mortuary Chapel.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Zion Cemetery in Verdunville.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
