MR. J.C. WILLIS

Mr. J.C. Willis, 64, a resident of Lafayette and native of Franklin, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at 11:10 p.m., at Lafayette General Medical Center following a short illness.
Visitations will be observed at Otis Mortuary Chapel Saturday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the chapel, with the Rev. Viocemus Vencent officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery in Franklin.
Survivors include one daughter, Tiffiany Willis of Cleveland, OH; five brothers, Leroy Thomas, Earl Willis Jr. and Melvin Willis, all of Detroit, MI, Troy Willis of Ypsilanti, MI and James Willis of New Iberia; three sisters, Sandra Lamar, Patricia Drexler-Jones and Catherin Willis, all of Ypsilanti, MI; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his parents.
The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
