NAKITHE SMITH SINGLETON

Nakithe Smith Singleton, 36, a native of Morgan City and resident of Amelia, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at her residence.
Visitation was today at Union Bethel AME Church in Amelia from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She is survived by four brothers, Rutherford Jones, Calvin Singleton and Michael Singleton, all of Amelia, and Clarence Jones of Conroe, Texas; seven sisters, Monnie Clark, Lillian Diggs, Shantell McPherson and Cheryl Singleton, all of Amelia, Jessica Singleton of Jackson, Mississippi, Michelle Singleton of Berwick, and Nakeitha Henderson of Philadelphia; three uncles, eight aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four aunts, seven uncles, her stepfather, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
