NATHANIEL LEE ALFRED

A Homegoing Celebration will be held for Nathaniel Lee “Sausage Man” Alfred, 37, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at St. John Baptist Church in Four Corners, with the Rev. David Jones, officiating.
He will await the resurrection at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Corners.
A gathering of family and friends will be at the church Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
A native and resident of Four Corners, he passed at 11:45 a.m., Saturday, August 1, 2015 following a brief illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary Ann Ned of Four Corners; one brother, Roland D. Alfred of Four Corners; one sister, Louise M. Alfred of Four Corners; his godparents, Charles Loston Jr. and Pauline Dorsey; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Edwards; stepfather, Henry Ned; sister, Michellin Marie Alfred; cousin, Doniell Jemmerio Miller; uncle, Charles Loston Sr.; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Hines Alfred; maternal great grandfather, Moses Hines Sr.; maternal great grandmother, Priscilla Hines.
Active pallbearers will be Charles Loston Jr., Daniel Miller Jr., Shawn Alfred, Timothy Akins, Travis Loston and Chris Howard.
Honorary pallbearers will be Honor Ray Ayro, Garland Westley, Avery Hines, Paul Clark, Willie Lewis, Alvin Dorsey and Avery Webb.
