Newby Paul Broussard Jr.

Newby Paul Broussard Jr., 50, a native of Patterson and a resident of Morgan City, lost his three year battle with cancer on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Morgan City Health Care.
He is survived by his fiancée of 21 years, Melissa Theriot, of Morgan City; three daughters, Nicole Marie Broussard, of Kaplan, Elisha Marie Broussard, of Broussard, and Victoria Mache Broussard, of Morgan City; one stepson, Brad Jordan Theriot, of Morgan City; his mother, Joy Rita Leger Broussard, of Patterson; one brother, Troy Broussard, of Bayou Vista; two sisters, Ena Broussard, of Berwick, and Monica Broussard, of Patterson; four grandchildren; and numerous nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, two uncles and his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with memorial visitation following until 1 p.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to alleviate his funeral and medical expenses.
