Octava Gonzalez

Octava Gonzalez, a native of Ozuluama Veracruz, Mexico, and a resident of Morgan City, passed away, Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Morgan City Health Care Center at the age of 88.
Octava is survived by two children, Armando Gonzalez and Teresa Quintanilla; one sister, Maria Estela Castillo; daughter-in-law, Rafaela Gonzalez; son-in-law, Jaime Quintanilla; five grandchildren, Jamie Jr., Ricardo, Jennifer, Humberto and Sophi; and two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Diego.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Melesia Gonzalez; and a sister, Refugio Reyes.
Funeral services for Octava will be held Friday, June 27, 2014, at Hargrave Funeral Home at 3 p.m. with visitation following the services until 8 p.m. Private services will be held at a later date for Octava following visitation.
