OLIVER EUGENE WILLIAMS

Oliver Eugene Williams, 73, a resident of Patterson, La. and native of Morgan City, La., passed away on Jan. 25, 2017 at 12:35 p.m. at the Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, La.
Visitation will be observed on Saturday Feb. 4, 2017 at the Mason United Methodist Church 601 Oregon Street Berwick, La., from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow funeral services in the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan City, La. Reverend Harold Spain will officiate the services.
Memories of Oliver will forever remain in the hearts of his son, Briant E. Williams of Baton Rouge, La.; a daughter, Mrs. Aharanwa (Lisa M. Williams)-Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; his stepmother, Sarah Johnson of Morgan City; three brothers, James Cox Sr. of Ocean Springs, Miss., Aldwin Cox of Morgan City, La. and Robert Williams of Patterson, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Johnnie B.) Crandle of Morgan City, La. and Mrs. Willie (Linda) Hamilton of Metaire, La.; four grandchildren, a great grandchild, one uncle, two great aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, a daughter-in-law, and a sister-in-law.
Oliver was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
