Patricia “Pat” Colar Jackson, 50, a native of Jeanerette and a resident of Franklin, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at her residence.
Visitation will be Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m.
Survivors include five sons, Dwayne Jackson of Jeanerette, Darnell Colar and Terrell Jackson of Baton Rouge, and Rufus Jackson Sr. and Delana Jackson, both of Sioux City, Iowa; four daughters, Latina Edwards, Angelia Picard Sr., Lahouma Jackson and Barbarlyn Jackson, all of Franklin; four brothers, Kenneth Colar Sr. of Four Corners, Donnie Colar and Jessie Brown Sr., both of Franklin, and James Colar of New Iberia; two sisters, Glenda Colar of Jeanerette and Cheryl Robertson of Morgan City; 55 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, three sisters and her grandparents.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City-Franklin-Houma-Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
