Peggy Iris Griffin

Peggy Iris Griffin, 56, a resident of Morgan City and native of New Orleans, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Esther Baptist Church, 1211 James St., Morgan City. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Providence Memorial Park, 8200 Airline Dr., Metairie.
Survivors include children, Marc Griffin-Hagan and Monique Hagan, both of New Orleans; one grandchild; and one sister, Joycelyn Winins-Bowie, of Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a nephew.
Jones Funeral Home of Morgan City, Franklin, Jeanerette and Houma is in charge of arrangements.
