Richard D. Martin

Richard D. Martin, 78, a native of Gibson and resident of Morgan City, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church of Morgan City from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Survivors include eight daughters, Shelia Ann Martin and Bertha Bougeare, both of Gibson, Kathleen Diggs of Houma, Anita Mouton of New Orleans, Gertie Ross and Alida Martin Clark, both of Patterson, Katherine Granger of Gray and Angela Banks of Houston; one brother, George Bogen of Gibson; and one sister, Willie Mae Gibson of Gibson; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
