RICHARD MARK NAQUIN

Richard Mark Naquin, 67, a native of Franklin and resident of Houston, Texas, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014, at 8 p.m., at Memorial Hermann Hospital, Vistas Innovative Hospice Care in Houston, following a short illness.
Mr. Naquin enlisted in the Armed Military Services on July 9, 1968 and served until May 31, 1970. He graduated from Franklin Senior High School (GED) in 1970.
After several various employments, and marriage, Richard and his wife moved to Houston in 1974. His employment was with Cameron Iron Works until 1984. Employment was then with Stevens Office Supply, Inc. until time of death.
Richard is survived by one stepdaughter, Stephany Williams and one step granddaughter, Baylee Williams; his siblings are two sisters, Carolyn Bonin (Boogie) of New Iberia and Patsy VonDreuche (Charley) of Lafayette; three brothers, Rudy Naquin of Houston, Murphy J. Naquin Jr. of Franklin and Barry Naquin (Robbie) of Franklin.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Naquin; parents, Murphy Naquin Sr. and Agatha Sinitiere Naquin; and one brother, Kenneth Naquin.
Richard was an organ donor and after donation his body will be cremated. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Cypress Creek Christian Church, 6823 Cypress Wood in Spring, Texas.
