Robert Husband

June 20 1931 — January 29, 2015
Robert Husband, a native of Starks and resident of Belle River, passed away in Baton Rouge at the age of 83.
Robert is survived by his wife, Lucille McLeod Husband; a son Bobby James Husband; and a brother, Billy Husband.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Amon and Christine Husband.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. After serving his country, he attended and graduated from McNeese University. He worked for and retired from Allied Chemicals, with a career spanning 30 years. During his 33 years of retirement, residing in Belle River and did exactly what he wanted — fished and met his friends at the Spunky Monkey where they solve all the world’s problems. Robert enjoyed the outdoors — he walked, ran and was quite a golfer. Robert lived an amazing life and will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Belle River Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11.30 a.m. Robert was laid to rest in Belle River at The Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
