RONALD J. ‘J-DUBB’ CHILLIS JR.

Ronald J. “J-Dubb” Chillis Jr., 32, a native of New Iberia and resident of Four Corners, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 6:18 p.m., at the Franklin Foundation Hospital.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the West St. Mary Civic Center, 1472 Hwy. 318, Jeanerette. Burial will follow in the Sorrel Community Cemetery.
Left to cherish Ronald’s memory are his mother and father, Ronald and Evelyn Chillis Sr. of Four Corners; his daughter, Madisyn Freeman of Houston, TX; one brother, Dartanius (Cheryl) Washington of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Aquatranese Chillis (Lawrence) McDaniel of Four Corners, Kyla Lancelin (Robert) Lewis of Zachary and Hershal Phillips of Jeanerette; his maternal grandmother, Idella Lewis of Four Corners; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clarence Lewis Sr.; and his paternal grandparents, Wallace and Ledger Mae Robertson and Gus Thomas.
