Rose Marie Ashley

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for Rose Marie Ashley, 66, a native of Rita and a longtime resident of Calumet, who died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, in Folsom. She will be laid to rest in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Centerville. The Rev. Bobby Hodnett will conduct the services.
Survivors include her son, Mikel James Ashley; two sisters, Leona Gail Champagne and Alice Faye Diggs; five brothers, Huey Ashley, Carl Ashley, Dean Ashley, Tommy Ashley and Gordon Ashley; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, her parents and one brother.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help alleviate funeral expenses.
